How does Jetcast offer unlimited bandwidth for a fixed fee per month?
Jetcast has a massive secure grid of users around the world. Each of our users has excess upstream and downstream bandwidth available to them. The Jetcast solution harnesses that excess bandwidth so that we can provide it to our broadcasters on a fixed cost basis. The result is an unbelievably reliable, secure, and cost effective Internet streaming solution for broadcasters of all types.

Traffic generation and player branding:
A broadcaster that uses Jetcast’s Massive Grid Broadcasting Solution can determine how and where its broadcast is seen. For instance, if a broadcaster wants the channel/station to reside only on its own website, it can. If the broadcaster would like exposure to a large audience of users looking for great internet audio and video, it can make the channel/station available on Jetcast.com, and if the broadcaster would like the channel/station to be virally disseminated (100% of the plays are still reported to the broadcaster), the broadcaster can choose that option as well.

Additionally, the broadcaster can reskin the Jetcast player to make it look however the broadcaster desires it to look.

What’s in it for Jetcast?
Jetcast’s revenue source is the one static advertisement that plays at the beginning of each stream request. We generally split that revenue with the broadcaster. Because our infrastructure is paid for, it’s the only revenue we need to sustain ourselves. If a static ad is not appropriate, other business models can be considered.

Incremental revenue opportunities for our Broadcasters:
Jetcast will soon offer its broadcaster’s the ability to sell any unsold in-stream advertising inventory directly to Jetcast on a bid/ask basis. The broadcaster can pull the advertising elements from Jetcast, and place the ads in their stream. You will never have unsold inventory again!

Syndication services:
Jetcast works with IPTV and other services providers around the world and has the ability to syndicate certain broadcasts to service providers. Typically, a service provider looking for compelling content to distinguish its offering from others will work with us to license our broadcaster’s channels for a monthly fee usually based on the number of subscribers the distributor has.
